About the festival
Rohan Design District is a festival of architecture and design aimed at creating a platform for connecting professionals in the field. Here they can establish new contacts and inspire each other. The festival was founded by the Rohan Design District association, which was established in spring 2024. Our ambition is to play a key role in the European design festival scene in the future and attract not only local but also international experts and enthusiasts to Prague.

Rohan Design District: Fragile world
The second annual festival subtitled Fragile World presents a connection between contemporary architecture, design, and Czech glass art. The festival’s subtitle symbolically refers both to the exhibition of works by leading Czech glass artists that will decorate the atrium of Amazon Court, as well as to the fragility of the contemporary world we live in. The program includes lectures, guided tours, workshops, and discussions with Czech and international creators. The festival takes place on June 5–7, 2025, at Rohan Embankment in Prague. Admission is free.
Supporting the development of Rohanské Nábřeží
Rohan Design District is not just a festival, but also a long-term initiative to support the development of the Rohanské Nábřeží area. Hundreds of new apartments are currently being built here, and dozens of significant Czech and international companies are headquartered in the area. We believe that this location has the potential to become a prestigious address for Czech architecture and design.
Program
The inaugural edition of the festival offered a diverse and varied program. Visitors were presented with a wide range of activities, including several guided tours of projects at Rohanské Nábřeží. These included, for example, a tour of the HolKa footbridge with architect Petr Tej or a tour of buildings by AI DESIGN. There were also visits to designer showrooms. Some participants organized workshops where visitors could, for instance, design and create their own bed. We also kept movement in mind – festival attendees had the opportunity to join a running session led by David Luu from Rohanské Nábřeží to Holešovice.
