profile: DAM Architects architectural office has been operating in the market for more than 30 years. It designs buildings throughout the Czech Republic and abroad. Among the most notable projects are the BBC Philadelphia administrative building, Main Point Pankrác, and the Euro Palace on Wenceslas Square. A significant portion of the project portfolio consists not only of pure new constructions but also reconstructions of historic buildings often accompanied by modern extensions. The core team of permanent collaborators at DAM currently comprises approximately 15 people – predominantly architects. In addition, DAM has the backing of a spectrum of experienced specialized offices in related professions and is therefore able to guarantee comprehensive delivery of design work including permits, even for large-scale investment projects. As the only Czech office, it holds the award for the world’s best office building in the MIPIM Award competition for the Main Point Karlín building.
