Friday Is Behind Us. Today the Festival Reaches Its Finale

Friday at Rohan Design District brought another series of guided tours, exhibitions, meetings and events across Karlín and the Rohanské waterfront. Visitors explored Kotelna 55, Rustonka, Palác Karlín, Panelárna, the Fragment building, the former Kabelovna complex and the glass studio of Rony Plesl.

The programme also included morning gatherings in design showrooms, guided exhibition tours, a running session around Rohanský Island and tastings of drinks from Warehouse #1. The evening was dedicated to galleries, contemporary art and informal meetings throughout the festival.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and became part of the second festival day.

Today, the festival culminates at Spojka Events, where a programme of talks and discussions focused on architecture, design and urban development begins at 12:30 PM. Topics will include contemporary schools, sports architecture, brownfield regeneration, urban data and Czech design.

One of the highlights of the day will be a presentation on the Vltava Philharmonic Hall by Martin Krupauer, a member of the project team. Visitors will be able to see the building model and experience the future project through VR headsets before construction even begins.

Admission to the lecture programme is free and no registration is required.
