Another participant of this year’s RDD festival is SAPELI, a company that manufactures custom-made doors for those who appreciate top-quality design, craftsmanship, local origin, and carefully selected materials. The company helps architects and designers realize even the most demanding, atypical requests, with their two factories in Jihlava and Polná, where door production has more than a 100-year tradition, annually producing around 130,000 custom-made doors that are exported to 20 countries worldwide. Besides interior doors, SAPELI’s portfolio also includes glass walls, security apartment entrance doors, and technical doors. The company has received 11 prestigious design awards for its products, including the Red Dot award and the International Design Award for the Muteo doors developed in collaboration with designer Petr Novague.
