During the festival, the Magniflex sleep studio will transform into an unconventional gallery of contemporary art. The exhibition presents works from the Crumple series by visual artist David Čáp, exploring traces, material memory, and the illusion of spatiality. Visitors are invited to experience the artworks while lying on Magniflex mattresses, offering a unique perspective on both art and space. The exhibition will remain on view at the Magniflex showroom after the festival during regular opening hours.

We invite you to the opening of Winter Games in Art II, an exhibition that brings together the worlds of sport and contemporary art. The exhibition presents works by Czech artists inspired by winter sports, movement, competition, and the emotions associated with the Olympic Games. Created in collaboration with Sport in Art, the project follows its successful presentation in Milan.

Guided Tour of the Fragment Building

The residential project Fragment, designed by architects David Wittassek and Jiří Řezák from Qarta architektura, goes far beyond the boundaries of standard residential living. It is conceived as a distinctive work of art that shapes the everyday experience of its residents.The entire structure reflects a fragmented mass, with this formal language continuing into the interiors. As a result, Fragment becomes a unique residential project of applied art, redefining the concept of rental housing in the Czech Republic. The project also features work by artist David Černý, who created the figurative steel sculpture depicting the mythological figure Lilith. Through both its name and its architecture, Fragment connects past and present, the contemporary with the future, and art with everyday life.

The tour will also include a visit to Fragment Gallery, featuring a guided viewing of the photography exhibition A Fraction of a Second – The Best of the “Sport” Category from the prestigious Czech Press Photo 2021–2024, along with a glass of wine from the Dog in Dock winery.

An outdoor exhibition of the final selection of 35 buildings from across the Czech Republic will be on display near the HolKa footbridge until 12 July. The exhibition offers an overview of the current state of Czech architecture and presents some of the most notable architectural projects of recent years across a wide range of scales and typologies.
