UPSTRUCTURE

UPSTRUCTURE is an architectural practice founded in 2021 by Pavel Paseka, Martin Žatečka, František Bosák, and Jolana Bosák Macháčková, following their long-term professional collaboration. The studio builds on extensive experience gained both through their own practices and their work in leading Czech architectural offices. Based in Prague’s Holešovice district, the fifteen-member multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and data specialists works across projects of various scales and typologies. The studio’s ambition is to design meaningful buildings, public spaces, and large-scale urban developments with a strong focus on context, scale, and sustainability. A significant part of its work involves collaboration with developers, guiding projects from initial concepts and permitting processes through to completion. In addition to architecture, the practice is deeply engaged in urban data analysis. It works with spatial data, geoinformation tools, and parametric models, enabling the team to develop proposals grounded in a precise understanding of a site, its relationships, and its potential.
