Lectures and discussions
Lectures and discussions are among the festival’s main pillars. Architects, designers, developers, investors, and other figures who contribute to the shape of the contemporary city gather here. The topics are intentionally diverse. The program moves between architecture, design, development, art, and public space, and opens up questions that are shaping contemporary cities: how new projects come into being, how the urban environment is changing, and what role architecture plays in all of this today.

In the first edition, the lecture program took place in the lobby of the Danube House building. During the day, the space filled with guests who watched presentations by a number of figures from the fields of architecture, design, and development. Eva Jiřičná, the studio Vrtiška & Žák, and the Roman architect Carlo Berarducci, whose work is closely tied to the Prague environment, all appeared on stage.
In the second edition, the main lecture stage moved to the Amazon Court space. The program was opened by developer Serge Borenstein, and over the course of three days a diverse range of guests took turns on stage: Rony Plesl, Kateřina Handlová, David Musil from Penta Real Estate, Christian Sieger, and other figures from various corners of architecture, design, and the development world.
Lectures and discussions have been a space at the festival from the very beginning where different perspectives on architecture and the city meet. Alongside architects and developers, designers, artists, and other creators are also given a voice, and it is precisely these encounters between different fields that give the program its character.
This year, the lectures will take place on Saturday, June 13 at Spojka Karlín.
