about the event: The residential project Fragment, designed by architects David Wittassek and Jiří Řezák from Qarta architecture studio, far exceeds the boundaries of standard residential living. It is a distinctive work of art that imprints its character into the lives of all tenants. The entire structure is designed to reflect the fragmented mass of the building and to translate the building’s morphology into its interior. This makes it a unique residential project of applied art that rewrites the chapter of rental housing in the Czech Republic. Artist David Černý also contributed to Fragment, creating the figural steel sculpture depicting the mythological woman Lilith. Not only by its name but also by its original architecture, Fragment connects the past with the present, the present with the future, art with life, and in its overlap, the individual lives of its inhabitants.

The tour will include a visit to Fragment Gallery with a guided exhibition of Czech Nature Photo titled Primeval Forest and So On and a glass of wine from the Dog in Dock winery.
