A8000
he A8000 studio, led by Martin Krupauer and Pavel Kvintus, is built on an interdisciplinary approach in which architecture actively shapes a broader spatial and social context. The nearly hundred-member team, operating in Prague, Brno, and South Bohemia, engages not only in architecture but also in urban planning, strategic development, and the transformation of brownfields both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The studio has delivered a number of award-winning projects, including Pavilion Z, Forum Karlín, and the Sedlčany Community Centre, and is also involved in the renewal of major infrastructure projects. Urbanism plays a key role in its work, particularly in the transformation of development areas, as demonstrated by the award-winning Zelenomodré Centre in Jaroměř.

Program
A guided tour of the former Prefa panel factory in Prague’s Holešovice district, now used by the architectural studio A8000. Originally built in the 1960s for the production of prefabricated panels, the site is gradually being transformed into a workspace and cultural venue. The tour will present the history of the site, its architectural design, and its current use.
