From her studies at the Secondary School of Glassmaking through her graduation from UMPRUM, where she studied glass in Rony Plesl’s studio, she has gathered experience from around the world. She completed an internship at the K.O.V. studio under Eva Eisler, at École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, and at Thier & van Daalen studio in Eindhoven. Kateřina designed lighting for LASVIT and spent three years in Dubai as a designer for the Middle East region. She then worked at Swarovski in Austria, where she was Head of Design for Swarovski Fine Interiors. She designed collections of crystal lighting for Bomma, where she currently holds the position of senior designer. Since 2022, she has been serving as the artistic director for the Rückl brand. In spring 2025, she received the Designer of the Year award at Czech Grand Design.
